Jamee was raised in Santa Barbara where she graduated from San Marcos High School. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Washington and spent an addition three years studying at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The next twenty years were consumed with raising her son and running a silkscreen and manufacturing bussiness, Rhapsody, Inc., in Portland, Oregon. Jamee is still involved in doing disign for othere screen printing establishments. A few years ago she sold her busoness, and returned to her home town where she is painting full time. She has been involved in Adult Ed, Santa Barbara Art Assosciation, Goleta valley Art Assosciation, Los Padres Watercolor Society, the Printmakers' Guild, has been Vice President of SCAPE(Southern Califirnia Artists Paintinf dor the Environment) and is now the publicity chair. Jamee is also participating in the publicity committee of Santa Barbara Studio Artists and has had an Open Studio with them for three years. She has taught the Santa Barbara Ars Association.

Jamee has had the pleasure of showing in many shows with SCAPE, in Gallery 113, at the Meisel Gallery, in the Faulkner, at the Weldon Ranch (Larry Iwerks' gallery), Cabrillo Arts Pavillion, the Corridan Gallery, the Botanic Gardens, and will be showing at the Divine Inspiration Gallery in Carpinteria this summer. She has received Honorable Mentions from Arturo Tello & Michael Drury.
